Security & privacy

Private conversations, built for small business.

Your customer calls and texts are some of the most personal things your business has. MyRingRing keeps them between you and your customer, with privacy switched on from day one and nothing for you to set up.

Only your team

Calls, texts, voicemails, recordings and contacts are visible only to the people you invite. Every business’s data is kept separate from every other business.

Never sold

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use the content of your calls or messages for advertising. Your customer list is yours.

Private recordings

Recordings and voicemails sit in private storage. They’re never put on public links, and access is restricted by role.

No passwords to steal

Sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Nothing to reuse, guess or leak.

Encrypted in transit

The site and apps only talk to us over encrypted HTTPS connections.

See who did what

An activity log records who on your team changed what, and when. Roles keep billing and settings with the owner.

Built for owners

Made for entrepreneurs, not enterprise IT

Big-company phone systems come with admins, contracts and months of setup. MyRingRing is for the person who runs the business.

What you get

  • Private by default, nothing to configure
  • Set up in minutes by you, not an IT department
  • One simple price, month-to-month
  • Your own business number, separate from your personal phone
  • A real person on email when you need help

What you don’t need

  • An IT team or a phone installer
  • Desk phones or special hardware
  • A long-term contract
  • Training to use it
  • To give customers your personal cell number

Your personal number stays personal

Customers call and text your business number. You answer in the app, so your personal cell never has to be on a flyer, a van or a website.

Payments

Card fields are run by Stripe, certified to PCI DSS Level 1, the highest level of card security. Your card number goes straight to Stripe; MyRingRing only keeps the card brand, last 4 digits and expiry.

Recording and the law

When recording is on, callers hear “This call may be recorded” before you pick up. Calls you make are recorded without an announcement, so tell the other person where the law requires it. You can turn recording off at any time in Settings.

Texting rules

Customers who reply STOP are opted out automatically. Texting from a US number needs a one-time carrier registration, which we complete with you.

Emergency calls

MyRingRing can’t place 911 or other emergency calls. Keep a mobile or landline for emergencies. Read more
