Important notice

MyRingRing can’t call 911.

Please read this before you use MyRingRing, and make sure everyone on your team knows it too.

Keep a mobile phone or landline available for emergencies. Calls to 911, 112 and other emergency numbers made from MyRingRing will not connect to emergency services.

What this means

  • MyRingRing does not provide 911, Enhanced 911 (E911) or text-to-911 service, in the United States, Canada or anywhere else.
  • Emergency calls you try to place from the MyRingRing website or apps will not reach emergency services. Your location is not sent to anyone.
  • MyRingRing depends on your internet connection, your device and electricity. It will not work during an internet or power outage, or if your account is suspended.

What you need to do

  • Always keep another way to reach emergency services, such as a mobile phone or landline.
  • Tell everyone on your team who uses MyRingRing that it cannot be used to call 911.
  • If MyRingRing is used on a shared computer or tablet at your business, place a notice nearby that says “This phone cannot call 911.”

Your acknowledgment

By creating an account or using MyRingRing, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this notice, and that MyRingRing does not support emergency calling. This notice is part of our Terms of Service.
