MyRingRing ("MyRingRing", "we", "us") provides a business phone service that works in a web browser and in mobile apps. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to myringring.com, the MyRingRing apps, and related services (together, the "Service").
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, business name, country and business address, and the names and email addresses of team members you invite. We use one-time email codes to sign you in; we do not store passwords.
Communications data
To provide the Service we process the content and metadata of your business communications: phone numbers called or messaged, call times and durations, text message content and attachments, voicemails, and, when recording is enabled for your account, call recordings. Recordings and voicemails are stored privately and are accessible only to authorized members of your business account.
Contacts
Contact names, phone numbers, companies and notes that you or your team save in MyRingRing.
Usage and device information
Logs of actions taken in your account (an audit log), browser and device type, approximate location derived from IP address, and diagnostic information needed to keep the Service reliable and secure.
2. How we use information
- To deliver calls, text messages, voicemail, call recording and the other features you use.
- To route incoming calls to the right person on your team and to show caller names from your contacts.
- To bill you, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to enforce usage limits.
- To provide support and to send service emails such as sign-in codes and invoices.
- To improve the Service. We do not sell your information and we do not use the content of your calls or messages for advertising.
3. Call recording and consent
Call recording is a feature you control in Settings. When it is on, callers to your numbers hear a notice that the call may be recorded. You are responsible for complying with the recording and consent laws that apply to you and the people you call, which vary by country, state and province. If you are unsure, turn recording off or obtain consent at the start of each call.
4. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that restrict their use of it:
- Telnyx — carries calls and text messages and provides phone numbers.
- Cloudflare — hosts the Service, stores data (including recordings) and sends our service emails.
- A payment processor, once paid plans launch, which receives your payment details directly. We never see your full card number.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of MyRingRing, our customers or the public, or as part of a merger or acquisition (we would notify you).
5. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Call recordings are kept for the period included in your plan (for example 30, 90 or 365 days) or until you delete them. Messages, call history and contacts are kept until you delete them or close your account. When you close your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal, tax or security reasons.
6. Your choices and rights
- You can view, edit and delete contacts, messages and recordings in the app, and turn recording on or off at any time.
- You can export or delete your account by emailing support@myringring.com.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, or to object to certain processing. We honor these requests as required by law.
- Text message recipients can reply STOP at any time to opt out of messages from your number; we block further texts to them automatically.
7. Security
Each business account is isolated from every other. Data is encrypted in transit, recordings are stored in private storage with no public links, and access is restricted by role. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your email account safe, since it is used to sign in.
8. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. International transfers
We operate from, and store data in, the United States and in Cloudflare's global network. If you use the Service from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in those locations.
10. Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. If a change is significant, we will also tell you by email or in the app.
